THE OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Legal Manager to our Legal team in São Paulo, Brazil ! The Legal team at Wellhub acts as a strategic partner to enable sustainable business growth while safeguarding the company across global markets. In this role you will serve as a legal strategist for Brazil, driving complex B2B negotiations, managing regulatory and litigation matters, and directly advising leadership. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal expert to take full ownership of high-impact commercial agreements and key legal initiatives within a fast-paced, global technology environment. YOUR IMPACT Act as a strategic legal advisor to business teams in Brazil, leading the drafting, analysis, and negotiation of vendor agreements and B2B client contracts, including Public Sector deals. Address key legal and commercial topics, including intellectual property, commercial terms, and data privacy arising from contracts, client negotiations, and strategic initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, proactively anticipating legal risks, implementing preventive measures, and offering strategic solutions to support business expansion. Conduct workshops and ongoing training sessions to build legal awareness and guide cross-functional teams on core compliance and commercial standards. Oversee litigation matters across the country, managing external law firms in a strategic and cost-effective manner. Drive departmental efficiency by leveraging AI tools to automate edict/bidding analysis, contract review, and cross-functional self-service workflows Supervise and mentor junior legal team members, delegating daily responsibilities, providing ongoing feedback, and driving professional development. WHO YOU ARE Law Degree and active license (OAB) to practice law in Brazil 7+ years of experience as in-house lawyer in multinational companies or in law firms; tech/startup, Public tenders and privacy experience preferred Fluent English (written and spoken) is a mandatory requirement. Spanish is a clear plus Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to explain complex, challenging issues in a clear manner to all levels of the organization Ability to work collaboratively across countries Solid judgment and business acumen, particularly in determining the significance of legal issues in the context of business goals, assessing risks/benefits and providing business and legal solutions Enthusiastic, self-motivated and efficient, with strong organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously; Able to work accurately and independently with an appropriate sense of urgency and function effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, situation awareness and flexibility.
